My body of work is a reflection of a lifetime spent living the rural, outdoor lifestyle alongside my family. With a BFA in oils from Central Washington University, I channel my experiences of traveling, ranching, and farming into my art. I paint landscapes that feature both domestic and wildlife, as well as flowers and portraits, drawing inspiration from both historic artisans and contemporary Western artists like Charlie Russell.
My oils are characterized by rich, emotional color and textured impasto techniques, while my watercolors capture fleeting light with fluid glazes. I enjoy creating both large, immersive pieces and smaller, vibrant works that explore tonalism. Through my art, I share the richness of rural American life, bridging past and present. My work is a visual storytelling of the farming and ranching heritage that has shaped my family and continues to inspire me.
